A new future for leadership development
Our ambition is to work with stakeholders to build on what is working well across the east of England and in support of national offers, and promote an innovative and patient centred leadership culture across the east of England.
We share the national vision of Health Education England which is:
To help improve the quality of health and healthcare by ensuring that the local workforce has the right numbers, with the right skills, values and behaviours when and wherever they are needed. We also have a local vision: to be the best we can be and to be a great place to work in order to improve the quality of services provided to patients in the east of England.
Our guiding principles are that:
We will concentrate our efforts on four key areas: strategy and planning; education and training; workforce transformation and leadership with the aim of driving up quality, supported by meaningful engagement with our partners, patients and staff. The values set out in the NHS constitution will lie at the heart of what we do and how we operate.
